Description

The "Dream of the Red Chamber Award (紅楼夢賞)" is a biennially held novel award hosted by Hong Kong Baptist University, aimed at evaluating and honoring the literary value of Chinese-language (Huawen) long novels published domestically and internationally. The award name derives from the Qing dynasty masterpiece "Dream of the Red Chamber," but submitted works do not need to be related to that work. The inaugural edition was held in 2006, and winning works have been announced almost biennially thereafter.
