Description
Established in 1983, initially called the 'European Poetry Translation Prize'. Relaunched in 2003 under the name of Corneliu M. Popescu, it is an award presented by the Poetry Society for poetry translations (poetry collections) from European languages into English. Winners receive a prize of £1,500. Since 2003, it has received support from the Ratiu Foundation. Note that it has not been held since 2015.
