Description

The Silesius Poetry Award (Polish: Wrocławska Nagroda Poetycka Silesius) is an annual poetry literary prize established in 2008. Sponsored by the City of Wrocław, it is awarded during the Port Literacki Wrocław festival. The main categories are three: Lifetime Achievement Award, Best Debut Award, and Book of the Year Award. Winners receive cash prizes (Lifetime Achievement: PLN 100,000; Best Debut: PLN 50,000; Book of the Year: PLN 20,000) and a statuette created by Michał Staszczak.
