Description
The Lao She Literary Award is named after Lao She and is awarded to Beijing writers every two to three years, recognising literary excellence in novels, novellas, drama, film, television, and radio. Sponsored by the Lao She Literature Fund (founded 1988). Established in 1999, first awarded in 2000. It is one of China's major literary prizes.
