Prix Athanase-David is a literary award given annually by the Quebec government as part of Prix du Québec to honor the lifelong body of work (oeuvre) of Quebec writers. Established in 1969, recipients receive a monetary prize. Winners are selected by a provincial selection committee, etc., and officially announced on the Prix du Québec site or via press releases.
