The Hermann-Hesse-Literaturpreis (Hermann Hesse Literature Prize) is a literature prize awarded in Karlsruhe to commemorate the German writer Hermann Hesse. Established in 1957. Prize amount is 15,000 euros. Past winners include Martin Walser, Hubert Fichte, Rafik Schami, Adolf Muschg, Alain Claude Sulzer, and others. It is a different prize from the Calw Hermann Hesse Prize or the prizes of the Internationale Hermann-Hesse-Gesellschaft.
