Description

The PEN/Bernard and Ann Malamud Award (commonly known as PEN/Malamud Award) honors "excellence in the art of the short story" and is awarded annually by the PEN/Faulkner Foundation. The selection committee is composed of PEN/Faulkner board members. Established in 1988 and sponsored by International PEN. Winners are announced through official announcements and press releases.
